Service Desk Manager Up to £45,000 (DOE) Newcastle Upon Tyne Permanent
**Your new role**
To manage the Service Desk team to ensure the delivery of an efficient IT Helpdesk service, including out of hours support and the delivery of key IT projects whilst maintaining outstanding customer service to all colleagues.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience of working as a Service Desk Manager, preferably in a law form or other professional services or regulated industry
- Have managed a team of technical support specialists, within a complex and fast paced environment
- You will be able to effectively converse with stakeholders and colleagues to shape their requirements
- You will have proven working knowledge and awareness of the ITIL framework, with a focus on ensuring excellent customer service
- Working knowledge of Service Desk software and functions
- The ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work both collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to work with third parties on support issues and projects
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Proactive, well-organised, and strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- Accustomed to office-based and remote support environments
