**Hours**: Full time or Part Time Hours

**Work Pattern**: You will be required to work on a 7-day rota to be discussed and agreed in advance

8pm - 8am

**Hourly Rate of Pay**: £15.00 per hour at all times.

**Based at**: Telford, TF2 6**

Job Purpose

The main purpose of this job role is to provide care and support to a young man in his own home and within the community.

Main duties

To provide constant supervision to the young man to ensure his health and wellbeing and general safety at all times.

Must be able to stay awake all night, reliable and flexible.

Hoisting client into bed

Helping with Ipad

Drawing up and administering medication through a peg

logging saturation’s and monitoring a nippy 4 vent

Suctioning tracheotomy when required

Repositioning when required

Giving morning feed through peg.

To prompt the young man to eat / drink with support with feeding and monitoring his fluid intake.

To provide personal care as and when needed.

To carry out any other tasks deemed relevant to the role by the employer.

Have experience of working with vulnerable adults.

You should have a thorough understanding of personal safety.

You should have some knowledge and understanding of risks.

Special Conditions

The post carries a 6-month probationary period.
