We are looking to recruit a **Cover Supervisor** on behalf of one of our Sefton clients to work in their establishment. The client in question is a mixed secondary school that holds pupils aged 11 to 18. Feedback from temporary staff is usuallyremarkable with high praise for several positive factors. Overall, the academic results are usually of a high standard, the general behaviour of the students is excellent and adheres to the school’s discipline policy and the cooperation and support of permanentstaff towards temporary workers is apparent.

The role of a Cover Supervisor is beneficial to those wanting to enroll onto the PGCE course, on the other hand it is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for education and working with children. The daily rate will be discussed upon registration,but it will range between **£70 - £80**per day. The position is due to commence after the Easter break.

To be considered for this position, it is important you meet the following criteria:

- You possess a degree or an educational equivalent
- You can positively lead and set an example
- You have a good management skills within a classroom-based environment
- You have a fair but firm approach when dealing with behaviour issues

Specific responsibilities include:

- Supervising the students and making sure they complete the set work
- Recording attendance in accordance with the school policy
- Following school safeguarding policies and procedures
- Ensuring a constructive working environment
- Collecting work and leaving it in an agreed place
