Senior Purchasing Administrator

**What you will be doing**:
- Day-to-day transactional purchasing of goods, materials and services
- Develop and improve supplier relationships to deliver quality, cost and delivery improvements
- Perform data analysis and issue reports on supplier performance
- Supporting internal teams with managing on-site inventory and stock accuracy
- Maintaining on-time delivery from suppliers to support the goods-in and production teams
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes
- There will be an occasional requirement to perform duties out of office hours to support stock taking checks
**About You**:
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make continuous improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Purchasing experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to analyse data and present information
- Able to take the initiative and use common sense
- Care about making a difference for customers and colleagues
- Can stay calm under pressure
- Be flexible and willing to provide support to your manager and colleagues, particularly in situations where there is a change of circumstances
