Job description

Learning and Support Youth Officer HebolSupport is dedicated to helping young people transition into adulthood and live independently. We offer specialist supported accommodation and outreach support to help young people and people with mental health illness gain skills, confidence and plan for a successful future.

About the Role

To work in partnership with support team and deliver independent living activities to young people.

To design, plan, and evaluate individualised programmes and activities promoting independent living in young people.

To provide high-quality informal education and early intervention opportunities for young people to achieve their personal and social development, make informed decisions, have a place in their community and, ultimately, to acquire the skills necessary for them to live as independently as possible.

Liaise and work with Support workers in the implementation of established plans.

Develop and maintain relationships with community service providers.

Responsibilities listed above are indicative and not exhaustive. Duties within the job scope may be assigned.

*NVQ Level 3 in in Caring for Children and Young People, Health and Social Care

*A minimum of 12 months’ experience planning, designing, implementing and evaluating individualised independent living plans and programmes.

*Have the ability to coordinate and work with people at all levels,

*Must have excellent communication skills, empathetic and collaborative skills,

*Must be a very mature and confidential individual.

*Must be very good at organising and seeing through planned activities.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 20-36 per week

**Salary**: £14,976.00-£22,464.00 per year
