**About the role**

Join us as a Countryside Operative for the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture In this role, you will be working as part of a small countryside maintenance estate team, undertaking a variety of maintenance, environmental and conservation tasks across the Departments public land portfolio consisting of forests, glens and hill-land.

You will undertake a diverse range of practical and manual based tasks to maintain, contribute and promote safe areas for the public and the enhancement of biodiversity. This will include mowing, tree felling, repairing boundaries and maintaining footpaths and trails.

***Annual leave starting from 21 days and all Manx and U.K. bank holidays; your annual leave will increase after your first year and again after your third year.
