Are you looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer job based in Southampton?
My client based in Southampton are a market leading organisation who are investing heavily in their R&D facility with loads of exciting new projects going on. They are now looking for an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join. This role is responsiblefor the design, development, prototyping and manufacture of control electronics containing embedded software/firmware for the Aerospace & Defence industry.
The Key responsibilities for the Senior Electronics Engineer job will be:

- Hardware design, both digital, including ARM microcontrollers and analogue, from concept through to manufacture and test.
- Developing embedded software / firmware for control electronics
- Requirements capture and documentation for both hardware and software
- PCB layout and design
Key skills required for the Senior Electronics Engineer job are:

- Strong knowledge of electronics design (Digital and Analogue)
- Programming knowledge in C, VHDL or similar to support digital circuit design.
- Ability to work on own initiative in a small multi-disciplinary team
