We are looking for a GMP Operator to join our expanding Production team at our site in Glasgow city centre. This is a technical position where you will be responsible for manufacturing Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) for BDD's clinical trials. As our manufacturing suite is co-located within our clinical trial unit you will have the unique opportunity of seeing your products dosed to patients and visualising their release behaviour in vivo.

This is a full time, permanent role. Hours are generally normal business hours (Mon - Fri 8-4) however, project specific shift work will be required to meet client needs where applicable.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Design validation studies for manufacturing processes
- Perform cGMP activities including IMP manufacturing, packaging and blinding for Phase I/II and POC clinical trials
- Co-ordinate and execute detailed manufacturing plans to agreed timelines and deliverables
- Preparation and accurate completion of project documentation including BMRs, manufacturing risk assessments and critical safety documentation (COSHH etc)
- Liaise with clients on project progress and deliverables
- Support manufacturing investigations including participating in root cause analysis for deviations, OOS and OOT results
- Support procedure and process improvements
- Recommend and implement methods to increase the quality of products and/or services
- Source and order GMP supplies, co-ordinate ID testing and maintain supply stocks
- Write equipment and process SOP’s

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Degree level qualification in pharmaceutical sciences or chemistry related discipline or relevant experience in production/laboratory role
- Previous GMP manufacturing experience from a pharmaceutical environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and to utilize resources effectively.
- Have proven experience of prioritisation, organisation and time management skills.
