**Job Sum**mary** Lead and develop the rivet processing team to ensure optimum performance of the production area. Continually monitor the process and all of its operations. Analyse production data to ensure all areas are performing and achieving the required targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To coordinate the production process, providing support to all staff within the production area and identify resource needs.
- To support the production coordinator to fulfill daily production requirements.
- To provide PPE to all activities required and enforce Health & Safety procedures. Identify where RISK assessments may require modifying due to production variations with Manager and Manufacturing Engineers.
- To maintain a standard of performance for the operation using the standard working instructions and procedures for all products.
- To track the planned working/holiday hours of your team and report accordingly.
- To ensure products produced are on time and in accordance to quality standards.
- To participate in the continual improvement process implementing LEAN principles.
- To lead the team to develop a 5’s culture within all areas.
- To ensure all areas employ good housekeeping on a daily basis.

- Formal leadership qualification
- Ability to make decisions, use initiative and carry out appropriate actions in line with the company policy and strategy.
- Good team player with experience of effectively contributing to a team environment as well as the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Conscientious, positive attitude to quality and workmanship.
- Methodical approach with good attention to detail when planning and carrying out tasks.
- IT literate with experience of business systems.
