Green agenda development, Planning and Organising To lead the implementation of the Trust Green Plan Delivery Programme, including establishing and leading the new Green Group, made up of staff and service users, tasked with the promotion and support behaviour change and the overseeing the delivery of our Green Plan Define key sustainability and green measures and audit and benchmark delivery against these, such as recycling initiatives and consistent signage or tools for teams to calculate/track their carbon footprints. To lead and manage the integration of Green Plan activities into existing programmes of work for example, health inequalities, quality improvement and transformation to add value. Work with colleagues internally to ensure that green and sustainability considerations are included in impact assessment and risk assessment and management within wider Trust programmes and standard ways of working. Lead the development of business cases and secure funding for this programme of work, specifically leading on bidding for Salix and other available funding; and influencing the Trusts capital investment and lifecycle funding plans for sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives.

Reporting on progress to Programme Director and escalation of issues where necessary. Project Management Lead the delivery of the Trust Green Plan through effective project management, including being responsible for the management of workstreams within the project, identifying all detailed project tasks and deliverables within workstreams and incorporating these into the project plan, maintaining overview of all workstreams to ensure interdependencies are managed, collaboration ensured, duplication minimised and opportunities enhanced. Establish and lead effective governance arrangements for the Green Plan delivery, including facilitating project meetings or workshops that include staff from all levels of the organisation, external stakeholders, service users and their families and carers. This will include managing meetings where staff or stakeholders are resistant to change and need to be motivated through a range of mechanisms Lead on quality assurance and accountability for sustainable development and initiative.

Develop effective external reporting requirements providing assurance on delivery to internal and external committees. Work closely with project sponsors to ensure they give and receive the support required to enable effective project delivery. Support engagement and collaboration with the SWL ICS and NHSE to align the Trusts activities and decisions with those within the wider system and region. Communication and relationship management Organise and facilitate regular Green Group meetings across the trust, as well as co-ordinate smaller working groups within key areas within the Trusts (e.g., within estates and facilities).

Build effective working relationships and liaise closely with stakeholders within the Trust to deliver strategic change within the organisation. Work across internal and external boundaries to ensure appropriate levels of engagement and communication with key stakeholders in the project. Align and enable enthusiastic individuals within the Trust to influence change and embed decarbonisation as a cultural norm, i.e., sustainable models of care redesign and development. Facilitate organisational development within the Trust to create greater knowledge and engagement with matters that affect the sustainability credentials of the Trust, developing materials where appropriate.
