We are currently seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team.

This role requires a motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills both written and oral.

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for a range of duties within the warehouse environment including (but not exclusively) shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory, completing paperwork, forklift operation and quality control.

**Requirement of Warehouse Operative**
- Experience of working within a warehousing function
- Forklift Licence (Reach, Electric Stacker Truck) - Preferred
- Dangerous Goods knowledge - An advantage
- Lean Management knowledge - An advantage
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Responsibilities of Our Warehouse Operative**
- Offload and put away materials in a timely manner to maximise efficiency and minimise damage
- Pick orders in an accurate and time efficient manner
- Have a good attention to detail, ensuring items and work is completed with mínimal error
- Packing items ready for dispatch ensuring labels and invoices are printed and correct
- Loading vehicle
- Carry out required cycle-counts for the department to meet its targets on pick-accuracy
- Ensure chemicals and spares are kitted correctly as required
- Quality Control of incoming goods
- Maintaining a clear and tidy warehouse, ensuring any potential hazards are dealt with safely, quickly, and efficiently
- Working both independently and as part of a team
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: £23,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
