JPMorgan Chase & Co. is expanding its consumer business by launching a new digital bank in the UK. We offer consumers a completely new banking choice. Using the Chase brand, the bank provides products and features tailored to meet the needs of customers in the U.K., delivered via an innovative mobile app.

The position will be located in London.

**Legal is responsible for, among other things**:

- Managing actual and potential litigation and enforcement matters, including internal reviews and investigations related to such matters
- Advising on products and services, including contract negotiation and documentation
- Advising on offering and marketing documents and new business initiatives
- Managing dispute resolution
- Interpreting existing laws, rules and regulations, and advising on changes thereto
- Advising on advocacy in connection with contemplated and proposed laws, rules and regulations, and
- Providing advice to the business and functions.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Product development and client advisory with respect to retail products, including all applicable consumer regulations
- Advisory on regulatory matters, including regulatory engagement
- Advisory on payments and deposit products development
- Drafting all client documentation, including general T&Cs, marketing materials, etc
- Drafting correspondence to internal and external parties
- Contributing to the oversight of the contents and execution of documents, including communications with respect to complaints, disputes, litigation, etc.
- Liaising with outside counsel
- Providing support to special projects in retail
- Performing legal research on a variety of issues relating to retail matters
- Senior management interactions

**Qualifications**:

- England & Wales qualified lawyer
- Experience with UK and US financial institutions and products
- Experienced with digital retail products
- Legal and Retail regulatory knowledge
- Proved knowledge on financial promotion regime and perimeter advice
- Cross-border experience, especially with respect to retail investment products
- Excellent organizational skills
- Team player who can collaborate with the Business and operations groups
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with all other retail laws and regulations, including CCA, CONC, GDPR, etc.
- Litigation experience
- Fluency in English is a requirement
