Cambridge, United Kingdom TEC PARTNERS LIMITED Full time

Our client, a rapidly growing and well-funded point of care medical device company aiming to change how molecular diagnostics will have a fundamental impact on how infectious diseases are managed at a point of care. My client is currently transitioning fromR&D through to low volume production as their medical device is ready to hit the market in years to come.

**Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer**

As Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will scale the consumable manufacturing processes as they move from the lab to the factory, this is a unique opportunity to be a critical part of the commercialisation of a disruptive technology. You will initiallybe responsible for the characterisation, optimisation and specification of the consumable manufacturing processes.

This role will develop processes that will be used to manufacture large quantities of their product annually using their on-site pilot manufacturing line. You will need to validate and specify the required processes on a low-volume scale using representativeassembly processes. This is an integral role to transfer from pilot manufacturing to a third-party manufacturer, so as the process expert you will be a stakeholder for engineering decisions during the continuous development of their product.

**Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer Requirements**:

- Bachelor's in engineering or a related discipline and 6+ years' experience in commercial manufacturing role
- Strong experience with New Product Introduction
- Process qualification: knowledge of the steps to qualify a process and/or piece of equipment (IQ, OQ, PQ, DOE, Process capability) to measure performance and optimisation

- Process specification: familiarity with equipment or product user requirements specifications, experience drafting such specifications is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the development under formal quality systems and practices
- Hands-on experience with related manufacturing processes

This is a brilliant opportunity for a forward thinking, motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to scale up my clients manufacturing development as they reach an exciting period of their product development, and as such you will be rewarded with competitivesalary options, development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
