Trainee Associate Audiologists x 2 Band 4 AFC (1 Carlisle based & 1 Whitehaven based)

We are looking to recruit 2 motivated, ambitious and caring individuals for the role of Trainee Associate Audiologist. This is an entry level role designed to enable the successful applicant to begin an exciting new career in Healthcare Science - Audiology.

During the training period the student will receive a proportion of their final salary based on Annex 21 arrangements for pay and banding of trainees detailed in the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook.

Our state-of-the-art hospital in Whitehaven has secured funding for the next stage of its improvements with a huge upgrade in facilities for both patients and staff creating a better environment, retaining bed capacity and services for the site and improving the capacity to undertake additional planned operations in the future. This represents the single biggest investment in healthcare in West Cumbria for over 50 years. This is a really important milestone for our organisation which will allow us to further expand our range of local services as we continue to improve safety and quality.
