One of my clients based in the centre of Henley-on-Thames is looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant. This is a new role as they have had a finance reshuffle, this role will be 20-25 hours per week, ideal cover on a Friday but flexible other days.

**Key responsibilities**:
You will be supporting a busy finance department; you will be responsible for the day-to-day sales ledger activities within the company. You will be a commercially minded individual with a good understanding of accounting principles working closely withthe Finance & Management team to support and continue to develop financial processes to support our continuing growth.
- Ensure an accurate, timely and efficient invoicing and crediting process
- Provide Sage reports and analysis on activities.
- Liaising with other teams in the company to ensure the accurate and timely drafting and preparation of invoices
- Setting up accounts for new clients.
- Producing statements to show sales income over certain periods.
- Assisting the credit control function
- Payment reconciliations
- Weekly creditor update meetings
