Band 6 Advanced Recovery Practitioner

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust (RBFT), based mainly in Reading, is one of the largest district hospitals in the country. We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver first class healthcare which is driven by our world class healthcare professionals.

The RBFT comprises of 20 theatres, providing a 24/7 emergency general/trauma and obstetric service through dedicated Theatres.

Our recovery unit consists of four recovery rooms caring for patients from all surgical specialties and from all age groups.

We invite applicants who are either NMC or HCPC registered to join our recovery team.

As part of the multidisciplinary team the Advanced Recovery Practitioner is responsible for the assessment, evaluation and implementation of care given to patients within the recovery room and supervise the junior staff and the students.

To coordinate in the absence of the Leads to main smooth running of the department.
