Service Care Solutions are looking for a MARAC Co-ordinator to work within the Dyfed Powys Police on a 6-month contract.

**Location**: Carmarthen

**Job role/responsibilities**:
To support the work of the MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) Co-ordinator in all functions in identifying cases and preparing cases for presentation at Conference.
- To facilitate and ensure consistency in referral cases from the full range of potential referring agencies based on the use of a common risk identification tool (DASH) and referral forms for victims.
- Prepare and circulate a MARAC list to all relevant attendees via a secure means (Varonis shared point) within five working days of the meeting.
- To refer MARAC cases ahead of the meeting to the IDVA service in a timely way.
- Prepare MARAC agenda to ensure that cases are reviewed in the most time effective manner and that any specialist attendees are present.
- To prepare accurate minutes of the meetings, which are differentiate between fact and professional opinion and include agreed actions in accordance with the MARAC guidelines.
- To record actions following each meeting, create intelligence logs, and if any actions cannot be completed for whatever reason (such as change of circumstances) or are incomplete to record these accordingly.
- To maintain the MARAC spreadsheet of victims and perpetrators to track repeat victimisation and serial perpetrators.
- To ensure that the relevant data is collected so that the outputs and outcomes from MARAC can be recorded (including the MARAC Data Form).
- To develop and maintain the necessary documentation to ensure the smooth running of the MARAC including referral forms and, template research forms and minutes.
- Responsible for collating statistical and analytical data from Key Performance Indicators and relevant case and management audits.
- To produce and maintain a directory of partnership agencies and support networks and contact relevant MARAC.
- To ensure that any information shared in the conduct of these duties is in line with the MARAC Information Sharing Protocol.
- To support the work of the MARAC Coordinator and Chair in whatever way maybe reasonable required.

**Knowledge/Experience required**:

- Must be able to produce accurate notes and identify relevant information from attendance at meetings.
- Must be prepared to deal with information in relation to very serious incidents and offenders with high risk of harm daily.
- Must be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of domestic abuse.
- Must have a proven ability to work effectively with a minimum of supervision, organising and prioritising own workload.
- Must have effective written and oral communication skills, with an ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Must be familiar with data collection and analysis.
- Must possess a Diploma level qualification related to the specialist area, or have proven, relevant experience bringing the role holder to a comparable level.
- Must possess professional accreditation in the specialist area or be prepared to successfully achieve this accreditation within 12months of commencing in role.
- Must demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving.
- Must have effective keyboard inputting skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
