**About The Role**:
We have an excellent opportunity for an Operational and Performance Manager within the Complex environment covering the Property, Commercial Disputes, Professional Negligence, PI Multi-Track and PI CAT areas.

This is a senior appointment, at Principal Associate level, for a key role within the department.

The successful applicant will have a remit to enhance operational efficiency across the Complex environment via the development and utilisation of MI and KPI’s and the monitoring of performance against those agreed metrics.

You will also work closely with other Principal and Senior Associates within the Complex area to deliver efficiency improvements as well as other teams across the business including the VF development and finance teams.

Other tasks will be aimed at freeing up Principal and Senior Associate time, including performance improvement plans and the development and running of inductions into the Complex environment.

**About You**:
- High levels of experience of managing operational performance through the use of MI, KPI’s and other performance metrics;
- A robust demeanour - willing to challenge performance and with a drive to get the very best out of all fee earners;
- Ability to devise and generate fresh MI and processes to maximise efficiency and throughput;
- A good understanding of VF and an ability to challenge existing processes and initiate improvements with appropriate input from others;
- A desire to interact daily with a significant number of people to get the best out of the team - a “people” person;
- High levels of organisation - an ability to juggle many diverse commitments and to deliver on them effective
