**The role**
Would you like to start a career in Logistics and gain industry-specific qualifications?

This role is an extremely exciting opportunity for someone to join us on as an apprentice and support our Folkestone office with their customs and operational freight forwarding requirements.

In this role you will learn all about road, air and sea freight forwarding. You will work within the customs team and will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of customs clearance processes on all import and export jobs as well as how we allocate suppliers’ invoices and sales invoicing.

Delivering outstanding service to our customers is everything to us and we are looking for someone who has service at the heart of everything they do. As part of our service delivery you will make sure you are completing all customs documentation correctly and on time providing regular accurate updates to our customers in this role.

We are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, who has an appetite for learning, exceptional customer service skills and a keen eye for detail.

**What you’ll be able to offer**
- Grade C/4 and above in English and Maths are essential
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines
- Extremely organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- High IT literacy skills including strong competency with Microsoft Office
- Outstanding customer service skills
- The ability to develop and build strong relationships over the phone
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
- Accountability to yourself and others
