**Description**:
Escape are working with a specialised manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Buyer to join an expanding Procurement team due to recent company growth. They will be responsible for purchasing raw materials and indirect spend for the site. This role requires the individual to negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials at competitive prices and maintain excellent relationships.

The primary responsibilities of the Buyer include:

- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure that the company gets the best prices and terms for their purchases
- Monitoring supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and responsiveness to inquiries and concerns
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that purchasing activities align with business goals and operational needs
- Maintaining accurate records of purchasing activities and expenditures, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Conducting market research and identifying potential suppliers for raw materials and indirect supplies
