An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Stopping Supervisor to work within a well-established team in the Wigan Borough. Reporting to the Project Manager, the main responsibilities of the role are:

- Agree budgets and timescales with the client.
- Attend site meetings to monitor progress.
- Supervise engineers across numerous projects.
- Organise workloads for engineers.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate workflow and ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with the company's FIRAS accreditation.
- Ensure that work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
- To be fully aware of and to carry out the role in line with the organisations Health & Safety policy and procedures.
- Control contract progress until completion whilst managing budgets.
- Ensure relevant certificates are in place for completed works.

Key personal skills
- Qualifications / accreditation in FIRAS.
- Excellent knowledge of fire stopping and FIRAS.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient use of MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working in a similar role is essential.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Experience of working on social housing/housing association projects.
- Full UK driving license.

As a Fire Stopping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and leading teams of employees and sub-contractors. Your responsibilities will include overseeing their work, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently. You should also have excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong attention to detail.
