Housekeeping Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist

Birmingham, United Kingdom Birmingham Airport Hotel Full time

Duties:

- Clean and tidy designated areas of the facility, including rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Attending Guests at Front Desk, Checking them in, Check out
- Looking after guests at the hotel
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and sweep and mop floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as countertops and sinks
- Restock supplies, such as toilet paper and soap
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of duties

Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and performing physical tasks. The ability to work well in a team environment is also important.

**Salary**: £7.52-£11.91 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
