We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser (12 month FTC) to join an established team and this position offers variety, development and the chance to be part of a fun and highly experienced team. Experience in a similar role is preferable however transferable skills considered. (E.g., Purchasing, Stock control, Imports)

**Main Responsibilities**
- Planning and controlling stock levels
- Analysing sales and reacting to trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Shipment planning, including import documentation
- Work alongside product teams to ensure stock arrival in a timely manner
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Forward thinking and ability to react and adapt to challenges
- Advanced understanding of Excel
- Ability to adapt to cultural differences

You must have excellent organisational, time management and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly. With your skills and experience you will quickly become a key member in the merchandise department.

What’s more you’ll be confident with the ability to work with speed, efficiency, flexibility and general professionalism. You’ll be computer literate with excellent Excel skills and work well under pressure.

**Location**: Etherow Works, Glossop (Easily commutable from Manchester with local train station and bus service)

**Salary**: Up to £27,000 DOE

**Hours of work**: Full time (37.5 hours per week) 12 Month FTC

**Interview process**:There will be an initial screening interview via teams with a member of the HR team, succession will be followed by a 1st stage face to face competency-based interview and an excel test with the hiring manager. If you are further successful, a 2nd stage face to face interview will follow with a member of the senior management team.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
