The Future Games/Kidz Zone Club have an opportunity for a Lead Playworker to join it's team working at Ascot Road Primary Sch (WD18) or Lanchester Primary Sch, Hempstead Road (WD17). You will benefit from an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience delivering a wide range of 'active' childcare activities; working with children from ages 4 - 12.

As part of the role, TFG/KZ will provide training and mentoring to develop you within this role.

This is a demanding but very rewarding role which could kick-start a professional career in the education, childcare or activity delivery sector. The role is ideally suited to someone with experience of working/caring for children either in a voluntary or employed basis.

You will benefit from an extremely varied role - undertaking the following roles and responsibilities.

**DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Full training is provided.
- Delivering ‘active’ after school clubs Monday to Friday 3.00pm - 6.00pm
- Delivering a breakfast club Monday to Friday 7.30am - 9.00am
- Holiday club shifts available between 7.45am and 5.30pm
- Assisting in the delivery of creative activities and free play.
- Preparing snacks and drinks.
- General administration responsibilities.
- Adhere to employers and placement organisations Health and Safety, Child Protection and Equalities policies.
- Complete various training courses.
- Adhere to their placement organisations policies.

- Good communication skills and ability to relate to other people.
- Ability to engage young people positively.
- To be able to adapt to different challenges in a positive way.
- Reasonable level of personal fitness.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £7.50-£13.00 per hour
