Are you customer focussed? Do you have a passion for working with people, along with an interest in library services and communities?

As a Library Assistant, you will support the delivery of library and information services working alongside and supporting volunteers to ensure a high quality service, support the delivery of activities and events, assist customers to access online information and resources and encourage use by a wide range of customers.

Based at Harrogate Library you will need to be available to work every other Saturday and some weekday evenings. You will be passionate about reading, have excellent communication skills, the ability to work with a range of partners including volunteers, the ability to deliver a customer focussed service, and have literacy, numeracy and ICT equivalent to Level 2.
