As the Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for the smooth running and day to day operation of the weighbridge. You will ensure good customer service, efficiently work in a fast-paced environment, greet Drivers arriving on site to deliver or collectmaterials, check paperwork and produce accurate weighbridge tickets for every load.

Additional responsibilities may include creating, maintaining and updating management reports which deliver timely and accurate information direct to the management team. This role will also provide substantial support to the transport operations and playa key role in Driver schedules.

**Hours**:
Monday - Friday / Shifts are 6AM to 4PM and 8AM to 6PM

Every other Saturday 7AM - 5PM

**Salary**:
£11.57 per hour

Overtime after 40 hours - £12.57 per hour

Saturday pay rate - £15.50 per hour

**Main tasks of job**:

- Identifying the customer account and material being transported and ensuring that the correct details (e.g vehicle registration, product, haulier etc) are recorded
- Following specific processes and procedures for certain customers
- Greeting and educating all visitors and drivers in relation to the site rules
- Answering incoming calls, dealing with customer enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Managing transport bookings and scheduling Drivers, liaising closely with the Transport team
- Ensuring that all drivers and visitors are wearing the necessary PPE
- Generating customer monthly reports and statements for sales, accounts and management teams
- Helping to maintain a system to ensure records are accurate, timely and recorded in accordance with operating procedures
- Closely liaising with the accounts team to ensure accurate records are kept
- Supporting the accounts team with month-end processes is especially important
- Making sure that correct documentation is processed, accurate and compliant to the industry and company standards
