We have a fantastic full-time opportunity for an Trainee Accountant in our General Accounting team within our finance department.
The role is responsible for:
- Accurate and timely completion of month end activities.
- Preparing and uploading journals during the month and at month end.
- Running financial enquiry reports in CODA and interrogating financial data in Excel.
- Reconciling intercompany balances with group entities, resolving differences and, in turn, obtaining signed intercompany agreements.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations by obtaining supporting documentation and completing variance analysis.
- Establish effective business relationships within the company, particularly with the Operations analyst and the Financial Planning and Analysis teams, to ensure efficient query resolution and to develop knowledge of the business.
Other duties include responsibility for assisting the General Accounting manager with other ad-hoc tasks.
You will have have previous Accounts Assistant experience within a fast paced environment, excellent organizational skills, with good attention to detail and a can do attitude.
A good working knowledge of Excel is a must with familiarity of V-lookups as a minimum standard.
