**The role**:
With support from the Senior Merchandiser & Head of Department work with the team in forecast & planning for the Global business. Drive planning, forecasting, allocation and analysis ensuring the right products are in the right place in the right quantity at the right time. Key focus on demand planning on core items as well as New Product Development.

**What you will do**:

- With support from SM, help to manage the demand forecast for the specific areas within Molton Brown business.In conjunction with sales team create demand forecast for all USA for ongoing products ensuring demand is reflective of sales budget in a reliable and timely manor. Own end to end process in conjunction with SCM to have the right stock in the right place.
- Management of specific reporting, with business for insight as required to support all channels and business areas. Ensure reporting is consistent, reliable and in a timely manner.
- Offer support to the channels with support from Senior Merchandiser for exceptional circumstances in maximising all opportunities i.e. maximise new business. Be involved in the monthly meeting with the channels to discuss challenges and work with the team to help in resolving. Attend monthly meetings with the planning/USA SCM department to discuss forecasts and issues that may compromise stock availability.
- With support from the SM present to the Management on forecast accuracy on a monthly for the USA business as well as forecast accuracy using MAPE. Present back on a quarterly basis through SO&P lite forum the business medium-long-term sales forecast vs demand forecast and supply plan in conjunction with supply chain.
- Assist in the NPD forecasting based on managed region on a timely manor as requested by global Brand and Merchandising.
- Ensure any variances to product allocations is highlighted to business and managed effectively. Support the customer services team in processing orders from third-parties to ensure accurate stock forecasting for manufacturing purposes and excellent customer service to business partners.
- Support sales channels and remainder of the USA business with the necessary support to ensure sales and BP can be maximised.

**What you need**:

- Graduates preferable.
- Minimum of four years retail experience within a brand-driven business, at least 3 years of which were spent in a head office merchandising role.
- Experience in global business and/or health & beauty sector would be an advantage.
- Microsoft office competence and advanced excel level are essential.
- Demonstrable consumer focus.
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate and influence across a cross-section of disciplines and staff level.
- Strong academics, highly numerate and able to identify trends.
- Must be a highly organised, motivated and determined individual. Flexible, adaptable and organised.
- Demonstrable affinity with the Molton Brown brand. Thrives on fast paced multi-channel retailing.
