Health & Safety Advisor

Due to our continued success, we have our sights set on significant growth and with this comes the opportunity to recruit a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join our team.

**Duties**:

- Ensure the company complies with its legal obligations in relation to health and safety through the provision and monitoring of the company policies, procedures, and training.
- Support and advise managers with developing safe systems of work.
- Work across functions to ensure Health and Safety minimises personal injury and disruption.
- Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformities are correctly reported and investigated in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Effectively maintain accident report files, incident files, accident investigations, corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence, and other related safety concerns.
- Ensure Health and Safety lessons learnt, and other high value learning events are communicated across the business
- Produce weekly reports from the health & safety department with regards to company performance
- Promote the Company’s vision and values to internal and external stakeholders.

**Experience and competences required.**
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Experience of dealing with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and external clients
- Experience in developing and carrying out internal safety audits.
- A highly capable communicator able to deliver your message across all levels effectively, achieving buy in.
- An established track record of delivering Health and Safety improvements.
- IT literate on Microsoft office packages

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
