Operations Director

My client are the leading service provider of tyre repairs and replacements to the off
- highway market with over 110 breakdown vehicles nationwide, including LCVs and crane mounted HGV's, they pride themselves on providing an unmatched national breakdownservice where our customers come 1st,. Due to continued growth and recent investment, they have set their on significant growth and with this comes the opportunity to recruit an Operations Director.

**Duties**:

- Control the operation of the Company including the Fleet, HSE, Dispatch, Customer service and field teams.
- Drive change and a continuous improvement in both process and people culture
- Lead, develop and mentor operational leadership team
- Investigate / implement company initiatives, in order to drive value for the operation
- Drive performance based on clearly defined KPIs
- Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained through a proactive safety culture.
- Generate meaningful partnerships with customers and suppliers

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven track record and Experience in the role.
- Highly analytical
- Have a 'roll the sleeves up' and 'get stuck in' mentality when overcoming challenges and getting tasks completed
- Communicate openly, motivate and inspire, create a positive work environment, manages team performance, sets a good example for the team.
- Ability to prioritise and set own standards and goals.
- Primarily Head Office based
- Experience in the Transport sector would be a plus but not a necessity.
- Experience in the Tyre industry would be a plus but not a necessity.
