**Job summary**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a team manager with experience and interest in financial and flexible resource management. These skills will be applied to support our operational delivery teams and to help us to achieve our operational priorities. You will manage and lead the Operational Delivery Support team to deliver effective process change, data, and contract management. You will undertake budget management reporting to inform resource and financial forecasts. You will be a self-motivated and committed team manager who enjoys supporting and inspiring others to achieve quality outcomes.

**Job description**:
A typical week will be non-standard, varied and enjoyable for those who thrive working with financial and commercial colleagues to deliver financial and flexible resource management outcomes.

**Hybrid working**

All of our office-based roles are contractually located at Temple Quay House in Bristol. Most of our roles are able to work in a hybrid manner and you will be expected to attend Temple Quay House at least 12 days a year. Depending on your role, you may be required to attend more often than 12 days a year either permanently or temporarily to ensure we deliver our services in the most efficient and effective way for our customers. **Person specification**:
**Essential Criteria**
- Working experience and knowledge of budget forecasting or management.
- Experience or demonstrable aptitude of leading process change.
- Experience or evidence of ability to motivate and develop staff to achieve effective performance in a continuously changing environment.
- The ability to understand, interpret and make informed decisions in relation to complex legislation processes and data.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure to exacting timescales
- IT skills and knowledge including Outlook, Word and Excel and Internet Explorer

**Desirable Criteria**
- Association of Accounting Technicians qualification.
- Understanding of appeals casework and the work of the Planning Inspectorate.
- Experience of managing a number of people or a number of teams.
- Understanding of GDPR and data management
