We are currently in search of an **Electrical Designer** (CE&I) for our marine client, located in Fife. This is a contract position with an hourly rate of approximately £30 negotiable by experience, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As an Electrical EC&I Designer, your responsibilities will include:

- Creating CAD models and drawings for full-cycle product design, from construction to installation
- Generating 2D electrical installation and fabrication drawings from 3D models, including cable containment installation drawings
- Interpreting electrical single-line diagrams, block diagrams, schematics, and cable schedules
- Familiarity with marine and ship repair practices
- Assisting in ship surveys to validate existing system drawings

**Knowledge, Experience, and Skills required for the Electrical designer contract role:

- **
- Hold an NC/HNC or an equivalent qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- Completion of an apprenticeship in the relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in using one or more parametric/spec-driven CAD systems in both 3D and 2D environments, with a preference for AutoCAD.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in Design for Manufacture within a marine build and/or refit marketplace (or a similar field).
