The role
As a Process Engineer you will perform all Process Engineering design work in support of winning and delivering large scale process-engineering themed projects for our key customers, ensuring that the business maintains its position as the world leader in the delivery of marine cargo handling and fuel gas systems for the transportation/storage of liquefied gas. End customers include major worldwide shipyards and ship owners..
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for designing activities associated with marine and offshore liquefied gas plants, ensuring safe and economical design while striving for continuous improvement and developing PFD’s, P&ID’s etc with participation in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and LoPA. You will also prepare calculations for line sizing, control valves, relief systems, process control and utility requirements.
This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home

Qualifications for the Process Engineer:
MEng degree qualified in Chemical Engineering. Time served relevant experience Will consider Engineers desiring to return to work after a career break, or those with a chemical/process engineering degree who operate in equivalent or transferable design environments.Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
