We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

**Main Duties**:

- **Personal Care**: Assist residents with daily personal tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- **Meal Assistance**: Help with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary, while ensuring dietary needs are met.
- **Mobility Support**: Aid residents in moving around the facility safely, including transfers to and from beds and wheelchairs.
- **Medication Management**: Monitor and administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document accordingly.
- **Emotional Support**: Offer companionship, engage in conversations, and participate in recreational activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
- **Communication**: Maintain clear communication with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- **Health Monitoring**: Keep track of residents' health by noting changes in behavior or condition and reporting to nursing staff.
- **Housekeeping**: Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment.

**Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare or social services is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a nursing home or similar caregiving environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to follow healthcare plans.
- CPR and First Aid certification are desirable.
