The responsibility of a weekend cleaning supervisor is to oversee the smooth day to day running of the cleaning department. This will include organising and scheduling cleaning operatives. You'll ensure that a high quality service is maintained across different sites supporting cleaners and fellow supervisors. The following responsibilities are to be carried out by the cleaning supervisor. The cleaning supervisors responsibilities are not limited to those listed here.

**Responsibilities**
- The supervision of all cleaning staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour whilst on duty, monitoring:

- Time keeping
- Customer service
- Efficiency
- Quality of service
- Ensuring that a first class cleaning service is delivered across the board to the variety of client sites the business operates at.
- Reviewing work schedules of the cleaning team and working with the administration team to ensure these are efficient in terms of location and logistics and that information sent to employees on their rotas is understandable, clear and complete
- Work with logistics manager in relation to ordering of cleaning materials
- Monitoring of all cleaning activities
- Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Supervising and monitoring the work of cleaning operatives
- Being the company representative whilst on site to lead cleaning operatives
- Being the point of contact for clients whilst onsite
- Ensuring day to day cleaning bookings are carried out and organising and arranging sick and holiday cover when required
- Liaising with employees and clients to maintain working relationships
- Implementing and maintaining procedures and systems
- Managing stock and equipment levels on site
- Ensuring colour coded cloth system is fully adhered to
- Organising and arranging induction programmes for new employees with office manager - ensuring that no new employee is allowed on site without all paperwork completed, unless authorisation from MD is given.
- Provide first line advice and answering queries for cleaning operatives and clients
- Liaise with accounts in regards to payroll and help to ensure that all cleaning operatives are clocking in and out appropriately.
- Accuracy of timekeeping across the cleaning department
- Conduct cleaning trials and assist with paperwork for this where necessary
- Carry out new starter inductions on site and induct them on the processes, procedures and systems of how the business operates
- Regularly check sites are cleaned to a high standard
- Providing ongoing training to cleaning operatives
- Providing motivation and assistance where necessary
- Be the point of communication for the cleaning team and deliver necessary information back to the administration team for smooth day to day running
- Communicate effectively with administration team
- Conduct employee appraisals General Responsibilities

- Communicate and maintain trusting relationships with clients and contractors
- To ensure communication is free flowing and accurate throughout the business
- Responsible for identifying and reporting operational inefficiencies to the Operations Director
- Identifying operational inefficiencies and reporting to line manager
- To always works towards optimising operational efficiency e.g scheduling, stock order, labour resourcing etc
- Providing motivation and assistance where necessary
- Responsibility to always act in the best interest of the company.
- Responsibility to undertake duties not specified within this description as and when the business requires
