**OVERVIEW OF THE JOB ROLE**

The Employability Trainer requires an engaging facilitation style which has impact and creates rapport. Comprehensive knowledge, skills and techniques to engage the learner and to support the development of new and exciting products whilst maintaining high quality standards and ensuring compliance with all company procedures. Knowledge of self employment and entrepreneurial skills training is a distinct advantage.

This role requires creativity and an ability to create rapport with clients to achieve targets and deadlines in response to business needs using own initiative. Teamwork and flexibility is of the utmost importance to deliver a seamless professional service to all of our participants.

The Trainer contributes to the company’s business objectives by being a team player and by participating in their own continued personal development to enhance the learning experience of our participants and to maintain professional standards.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

1. To deliver and facilitate programmes in line with No One Left Behind and SQA requirements including assessment and internal verification.

2. To improve the self-confidence of participants by encouraging and valuing their contribution.

3. Ensure that each participant gains maximum benefit from the training programme that they complete to aid transition into a positive destination.

4. Create and maintain customer information recording their progress and agreed action plans.

5. Encourage and assist participants to use my world of work and the enable platform. providing guidance, support and coaching as necessary.

6. Establish good working relationships with partners and other stakeholders to reinforce the benefits of the programme.

7. Work closely with management to identify and action any opportunities for improvement with the role.

8. Attend performance reviews where targets will be discussed and agreed.

9. To promote and comply with all company policies especially Equality/Diversity and health and safety.

10. To ensure all learning materials and equipment are fit for purpose, maintained to a reasonable standard and properly stored away within the centre.

11. To support colleges and share good practice company wide.

12. To be flexible in relation to working both within the trust and at other locations.

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year
