**Temporary**: 12 month contract to cover maternity leave (up to September 2024)

**Overall purpose of the role**

This role is responsible for the management of our central bookings system to ensure our experience days run smoothly, as well as general admin duties as outlined below.

**Key activities and responsibilities**
- Managing booking enquiries from our online booking system
- Processing bookings using operating systems in accordance with policies and procedures
- Being the main point of contact for clients in the run up to their experience day
- Checking in clients on their experience day and upselling add-ons where appropriate
- Liaising and coordinating with the on-site team including operational management, catering and instructors to ensure each experience day is a success
- Processing invoices relating to experience days
- Responding promptly and professionally to feedback, comments and complaints
- Managing the booking calendar to ensure it is always up to date
- Liaising with booking agents and responding to their requests in a timely manner
- Managing gift vouchers both issuing and redeeming
- Organising instructors to cover experience days
- Creating and posting social media content related to experience days
- Road registering clients trials bikes using paper-based and online systems
- Any other admin duties as would be expected of an admin assistant

**Education, qualifications, or experience**
- Minimum A-C GCSE’s or equivalent
- All training is provided
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bookings/reservation role

**Knowledge, skills, and abilities**
- Strong administrative skills
- An excellent organiser and coordinator who appreciates the importance of attention to detail
- Great communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Ability to prioritise effectively and enjoy multi-tasking and working to deadlines
- Initiative to solve problems and deal with complaints in a positive and diplomatic manner
- Ability to resolve queries in a proactive, practical and positive manner

**Hours**

Full time: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9am-5pm & Friday/Saturday 8am-5pm

**Salary**: From £20,000.00 per year
