Kameo Recruitment is recruiting for an **Office Operations Manager** to join a fantastic company based in Cambridge. This is an incredibly varied role where you will be required to have excellent communication and organisational skills, as wellas being a strong administrator.

Working across finance, HR, and office admin, you will be hands on and ready to become fully immersed in the business. This is a very exciting opportunity for a responsible, reliable, and positive professional who is ready for a new challenge

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- General accounting such as enter payable invoices accurately in our internal accounting system.
- Make payments such as office rent, HMRC, company suppliers and staff expense in a timely manner.
- Support MD to arrange payroll and pension payment on a monthly basis.
- Arrange VAT returns and payment on a quarterly basis
- Reconcile bank statement
- Prepare end of month account and prepare P&L and balance sheet for MD and global CFO.
- Prepare end of year account with the support from global finance team and external auditors.
- Credit control to ensure overdue payments are collected on time.
- Cost control to reduce the cost on general office operations.
- Assist MD on annual budgeting, finance planning and review.

**HR**
- Provide MD and senior management team support on all HR matters on a daily basis.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on any HR matters when required.
- Provide support with new staff recruitment, liaise with recruitment agencies on employment contract and their onboarding induction.
- Provide support to MD and senior management on staff annual reviews.
- Support MD to maintain and update staff handbook.
- Manage staff annual leave and sickness absence.

**Office Admin**
- Oversee all the administration responsibilities and work closely with the admin team to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
- Liaise with the licencing team to ensure all invoices are sent out and payments are collected in a timely manner.
- Manage company car and arrange office insurance, public liability and employer’s liability.
- Liaise with the office service company regarding any office service issues.
- Manage any matters related to office rent and tenants as and when required.
- Review lease arrangements and liaise with solicitors/office service agents
- Keep and manage all legal and financial documents required for the business operation.
- Responsible for the general office maintenance and assets management.
- Book travel and accommodation for staff as required.
- Provide support to MD and staff on any other general administrations when required.

**Required**:

- Experience within HR.
- Experience with bookkeeping and finance control is desirable.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and concise writing skills.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks on a daily basis.
