PR Officer

I Holland Limited have been in business for 75 years and are the most well-known producer of tablet punches and dies in the world and we need a professional PR Officer to join the team

Due to growth in our marketing department, we have a part time role available - 3 days per week, details to be discussed at the interview stage.

Working with the Marketing Executive, we are looking for someone to provide professional marketing knowledge to help plan, develop and implement PR strategies. They will need to use all forms of media and communications to build, maintain and manage company brand image in addition to communicating clear messages in line with the company’s sales and business strategy.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Marketing Executive to plan, develop and implement PR strategies

2. Build strong relationships with media companies to identify opportunities

3. Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media

4. Write and edit in-house newsletters, case studies, articles, interviews, and more

5. Undertake market research

6. Facilitate internal communications

7. Maintain and update information on the company’s website (when required)

8. Manage and update information and engage with users on all social media sites (when required)

The following skills and experiences are recommended for this job; however, they are not essential:
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills

2. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines

3. Creativity and imagination to identify areas and topics of interest

4. The ability to think strategically to plan successful PR campaigns

5. IT literate. Experience with Adobe (InDesign) and Word

6. Relevant qualification in PR ideal but not essential

7. Relevant work experience writing for external communications

8. Experience liaising with external stakeholders (media publications, etc.)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £14,900 to £18000pa, (FTE 25,000 - 30,000 pa pro rata) depending on skills and experience
