Sunspeed specialises in delivering physical IT services. We organise and manage IT Relocation, Asset Disposal, Technical Logistics and IT Engineering projects for many of the world’s leading technology organisations.

We are currently seeking an assistant to support the operations and finance department by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks.

Assistant Accountant Job Duties:

- Prepare sales invoices
- Ensure all sales invoices are raised in a timely fashion
- Maintain a purchase order system
- Collect any missing purchase orders so that invoices can be raised
- Manage the aged debtors process including credit control and resolving any disputed invoices.
- Enter financial information into appropriate software programs
- Manage company ledgers with the Factoring company and into Xero
- Process business expenses
- Manage day-to-day transactions
- Assist the finance department and senior staff members with various tasks
- Take care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records and create new customer accounts
- Build a good rapport with clients and provide the accounting team with relevant information
- Manage employee process including
- on-boarding
- Employee records
- Holidays etc
Assistant / HR Accountant Skills and Qualifications:
Data Entry; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Detail Oriented; Organised; Timely; Competent IT Skills; Strong Bookkeeping Skills; Knowledge of Business Math; Understanding of Budgetary Principles; Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills; Proficiency with Xero is desirable.

**Recruitment process**:

- Second Stage - 60 to 90 minute face to face interview.
**Required experience**:

- Previous experience working in a finance department working with invoicing, collections and accounts payable essential.
- Fluent user of CRM, Microsoft Suite and Accounting Software - i.e. Xero.
- A full clean UK licence is essential.
**Package**:

- £25,000.00 to £30,000.00 per annum.
- 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
