Established over 120 years ago, this impressive manufacturing organization has diversified and is now a major supplier to a number of high-profile businesses operating in a variety of industries, including Chemical, FMCG and Steel Processing. In the past 2 years, this employer has made significant investment and now operates out of a brand new, purpose build facility, from which they provide end to end services from initial concept design to aftercare & servicing.

Because of continued demand of their bespoke services and products, this employer is now looking to increase their component manufacturing output by recruiting a Stores Operative on a permanent basis.

This employer is based in **WAKEFIELD**, just a few minutes from the M1, meaning the successful Stores Operative can easily commute from surrounding towns and cities, such as Leeds, Huddersfield, Castleford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Halifax and Dewsbury.

**Key Responsibilities of the Stores Operative**:

- Ensuring all incoming purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently to the companies’ standards and priorities.
- Carry out any duties as and when requested by the Progress & Goods In Manager
- To accurately record all transactions using the in-house IT system
- To confidently liaise with multiple teams to locate manufactured parts.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse / goods in environment
- FLT Counterbalance License

**Working Hours of the Stores Operative**:
37.5 Per week, spread across a day shift pattern
- Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30
- Friday - 08:00 to 15:15

**In return, the Stores Operative will receive**:

- Renumeration: £25,000.00 per annum / £12.82 per hour
- Holiday Allowance: 33 Days (25 days + public holidays)
- Scottish Widows Pension Scheme: Matched contribution up to 5%
- Private Health Plan (Westfield)
- Life Assurance - 2x Annual Salary
- Relevant Company PPE & Workwear
