**JOB LOCATION**: OBAN, SCOTLAND

**GENERAL ASSISTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns promptly
- Support housekeeping staff with cleaning rooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Assist in the hotel restaurant by setting up tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables as needed
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold the hotel's standards of service
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as light repairs, painting, and upkeep of hotel facilities
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
