An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CH24 and take a leading role in developing our HR department.

**_ Overall purpose of role_**

To provide HR administrative support to the business including recruitment and onboarding of staff and support to existing employees.

**About The Role**

**_ Responsibilities_**
- Administration of recruitment process
- Onboarding new employees
- Monitor training due dates to ensure compliance with RQIA and internal requirements; book training and promptly escalate any overdue
- Ensure relevant HR records are maintained (sickness, benefits, personal detail and employment record changes, maternity/paternity leave and general queries).
- Support managers with disciplinary, absence management, grievance issues
- To support existing care workers and overall employee and departmental relations.
- Support and provide guidance on the performance review and probation process as required.
- To provide cover for team members as required and remain flexible in adjusting priorities to deliver the requirements of the team
- Absence & reporting management
- help with staff rotas and providing leave reports to ensure correct scheduling of leave
- Support of other administration processes as required.
- Remote phone support and visit monitoring (company mobile and laptop) will sometimes be required
- This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities; you will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by your line manager_

**_ Remuneration package_**
- Starting salary £23,000 per annum
- 34 days holidays

**Required Criteria**
- Education to GCSE Level, Grades A*-C, or equivalent (including Maths & English)
- 1 year’s HR administrative experience, ideally within a compliance environment
- Effective communication skills including verbal & written
- IT proficiency including Microsoft office and Bespoke digital management systems
- High attention to detail
- Exception people skills
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Proven track record dealing with end-to-end recruitment processes
- Professional, service-minded approach
- Good listening and recording skills
- Sensitivity to confidential information
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport

**Desired Criteria**
- HR / CIPD graduate level, or partial completion
- Previous experience in social care or general care setting
