Proactive are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector in Saffron Walden to start work for a world leader in the design, build and supply of LED lighting, electrical connectors/connector systems, and high performance electrical components.

This is a permanent position offering ample opportunities for development and progression.

You will be required to support the company Business Management System whilst ensuring that quality and manufacturing processes are performed to the required standard

**Duties and experience should include**:

- Understand and support the management of LPAs BMS documentation
- Perform general inspection activities
- Compilation of FAIs
- Create 8Ds establishing root cause and implementation of corrective actions
- Process supplier returns
- Lead continuous improvement activities
- Understand risk and the implementation of risk mitigation
- General related administration
- Perform any other reasonable tasks requested
- Respect and maintain H&S requirements

**Desirable**:

- Have a good understanding of ISO EN 9001:2015 requirements
- Perform supplier audits
- Perform internal audits
- Support customer and regulatory audits
- A working knowledge of QPulse
- Program and operate the CMM (PC-Dmis)
- Program the CIRRIS equipment

**Start**:Immediate

**Location**:Saffron Walden

**Salary**: £35,000 - £48,000 - Depending on Experience

**Hours**: 8AM TO 4:30PM

Needed for production and manufacturing of Aerospace parts for a Tier 1 Client.
