Bringing it to the role._**

We are looking for an action driving, enthusiastic, independent, commercial superstar and heart led coach to join KFC Commercial Finance team to deliver best in class planning, reporting and insight led change as a Head of FP&A and Equity Ops Finance

Our commercial team is at the heart of the business, partnering broadly across the strategic agenda. Within this role you’ll be reporting to the Commercial Finance Director and leading a team of five high calibre individuals. You’ll be partnering with the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Equity Operations as well as our Global Finance team in Dallas. Your team will be responsible for planning and reporting the financial performance of our ~280 equity owned restaurant P&Ls, holding the operations team to account on their controllable cost lines including Labour, Waste & Repairs amongst others. The role will involve the integration of 218 newly acquired restaurants into our planning process and identifying strategic opportunities to create efficiencies and growth in the P&L.

You will be supporting the delivery of strategic objectives, leveraging data and insight to continuously optimise performance, margin and drive our commercial ambitions. You will be a key stakeholder within the wider cross functional teams, recommending improvements and new initiatives to drive positive transformational change in the business.

**People growth**
- Coaching and Developing the growth of several high potential, high calibre team into bench ready for future roles in the organisation

**Central planning**
- The preparation of our Financial Annual Operating Plan, working closely with our Leadership team and cross functional directors to build a growth led plan to meet our global ambitions.
- Leading the team responsible for the quarterly revisions to the AOP and related submissions to our Global team, aligning inputs from across the business through key relationship and our S&OP process.
- Ownership of the Equity and Franchise economic business model - driving sustainable margin improvement over time and communicating planning assumptions with our Franchise community.
- Expense Management - Planning zero based G&A and Franchise recharge budgets, articulating overspend and identifying opportunities with budget holders
- Improving BI reporting across internal and Franchise stakeholders, by driving self-serve dashboard/tabular reporting on key performance metrics.

**Ops Finance** - Delivering best in class forecasting, reporting and growth through a team of 3
- Delivering quarterly store P&L plans to existing 52 Equity restaurants, issuing targets for Sales, Labour, and Manager controlled variables.
- Integrating existing store P&L planning process for 218 recently acquired Equity restaurants.
- Designing a new combined planning process for the new Equity estate, driving a consistent and automated, repeatable process.
- Lead weekly Ops finance reporting meetings with Chief Operating Officer and Equity Ops leads, holding the business to account on financial performance against plans.
- Contribute to our weekly business trading review on Equity store performance
- Drive strategic direction of Equity Operations through data led insight of the disaggregated P&Ls, identifying growth opportunities within the estate and designing strategic ambition to improve sales and profitability of our equity owned restaurants.

- Excellent communicator, ability to concisely articulate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to communicate information and ideas through concise and impactful PowerPoint presentations
- Able to build and draw upon strong business partnering relationships
- Previous experience in a commercially focused planning and reporting role desirable
- Advanced knowledge of Excel desirable

**EDUCATION**:
Accountancy Qualification (ACA, CIMA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)
