We are looking for a Part Time Customer Service Assistant to work within the fast-paced environment provided by Library, Learning and Student Services at the Waterside Campus.

You will act as frontline support, staffing service points, promoting support and services to students and staff and maintaining the learning environment.

Part time hours of work: 22.5 hours per week, on a rota basis between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday.

We are an accredited Living Wage Foundation Employer and currently pay the real living wage. In recognition of this the salary for this post has been increased to pay the higher amount which currently supersedes the actual Grade 3 salary before living wage which is £20,880 - £22,214 per annum, pro rata.

You will need to be self-motivated, conscientious and a good communicator. Your ability to actively listen to and support our customers will be extraordinary and your positivity and enthusiasm will ensure you fit right in with our fantastic, high-performing team.

**Qualifications**

Essential:

- GCSE level or equivalent

Desirable:

- 'A' Level or above

**Department**

Library, Learning and Student Services (LLSS) consists of the University Library (incorporating Academic Services and Service Development) and also the areas of Learning Technology, Learning and Teaching Enhancement, and Student Services.

The post is based within the Service Development team which includes Customer Service Assistants and Supervisors. Library, Learning and Student Services is based within the Learning Hub, an innovative library, study and teaching building at the new Waterside campus in Northampton.
