**Job Title**: Project Support Worker
- Maternity Cover
**Responsible to**: Project Co-Ordinators
**Main role**:
- To assist with the administration, delivery, and financial management of a range of projects in Education, Training and Health & Wellbeing areas of the Centre.
- To assist in developing social, educational, cultural and recreational programmes and activities throughout the centre which meet the diverse needs of women.
**Hours**: Part-time
- 20hrs per week
**Duties**:
- To publicise, promote and recruit women to join the programmes run by the Centre.
- To assist in implementing a varied programme of health and wellbeing, educational and capacity building activities for adult women of diverse backgrounds.
- To support individuals and address issues identified by them as important.
- To work closely with other departments in the Centre e.g., Childcare to enable women to effectively access Centre’s programmes.
- To produce leaflets, flyers & posters to promote the Centre’s programmes.
- To set up, prepare & maintain all facilities as required, such as rooms, materials and equipment and ensure all facilities and resources are left clean and tidy after sessions.
- To liaise with tutors/facilitators necessary logistics for smooth delivery of classes & project activities.
- To obtain & check all invoices from tutors/facilitators before passing onto the Finance Department.
- Order and maintain all stationery and equipment in the Education & Projects Department.
- Set up and maintain administrative systems including a database of service users, students and attendance records etc.
- To work as part of the team to carry out monitoring and evaluation of programmes/activities with participants.
- Ensure the maintenance of proper records in accordance with all relevant Data protection and funders’ procedures.
- To attend Team/Staff meetings as required and contribute to the development of programmes.
- To ensure confidentiality at all times.
- To undertake any relevant training necessary for effective delivery of the job.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
**Qualifications**
- Educated to at least G.C.S.E. standard or equivalent. Minimum 3 GCSEs.
- At least 2 years continuous experience in an administrative environment.
- Good ICT skills
**EXPERIENCE**
- Experience of dealing with people from diverse backgrounds including those whose first language is not English.
- Experience of maintenance and control of administrative systems.
- Experience of Office programmes Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience of using Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
**SKILLS**
- Ability to relate to women from diverse backgrounds and range of ages.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
**KNOWLEDGE AND VALUES**
- Understanding of and a commitment to Women’s Development in a community context.
- Committed to team working.
**PERSONAL QUALITIES**
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.

**General**
- It is the nature of the work of Windsor Women’s Centre that tasks and responsibilities are, in many circumstances, unpredictable and varied. All employees are therefore required to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises, so that tasks not specifically covered in the job description are undertaken. These additional duties will normally be compatible with the skills and responsibility of the existing work.
- To adhere to existing work practices, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings and one to one supervision meetings.
- To demonstrate their commitment to Windsor Women’s Centre by their regular attendance and the efficient completion of all tasks allocated to them.
- It will be necessary to work with information technology and associated systems in accordance with Windsor Women’s Centre Policies and Procedures
- To co-operate with Windsor Women’s Centre in complying with relevant health and safety legislation, policies and procedures, in the performance of the duties of the post
- To carry out duties and responsibilities of the post in compliance with Windsor Women’s Centre’s equal opportunities policies
- To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
