**Location: Leeds Office/hybrid (2/3 days per week in the office to support the running of live virtual events)**

**Salary**:£32,164.23** **per annum**

Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for an Events Officer to join the Marketing & Communications department as a member of the Events team who lead, manage, and run events support across the organisation.

The purpose of the role is to support the successful delivery of an annual programme of events running a busy schedule of complex and large-scale virtual and in person events simultaneously.

This includes providing expert guidance and support to establish the need for an event, identifying the most appropriate event solution to achieve the outcomes and meet audience need; and then co-ordinating end to end event management of the events.

We require someone who has experience and knowledge of:

- events management and planning - supporting colleagues to produce and run events which are engaging, relevant, inclusive, and accessible
- running virtual events on a range of platforms including Zoom and MS Teams
- event data capture, analysis, and reporting
- online event management and content management systems.

You will have experience of working in a similar events capacity, within a project environment or within an events venue and can work to event and office procedures.

Knowledge and experience of events marketing would be an advantage.
