A School that caters for students with special educational needs are looking for a classroom assistant to help motivate and engage the children, monitor their academic and emotional progress, and nurture their love for learning. This is a role where no twodays are the same and where every day brings something new.

**The Role**:
As a classroom assistant, you would be assigned to a specific class and work closely with the pupils to ensure every school day is the best it can be. This will include preparing learning materials, supporting the class teacher, creating a fun and engaginglearning environment for the students, mentoring each student 1:1 and ensuring everyone is achieving.

The school caters for both primary and secondary age students (3-18 years) who have a range of complex additional needs. This includes autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, mental health needs and physical disabilities. You will therefore need to be proactiveand be able overcome any challenges with resilience. Personal care and behaviour management will be required, though you will receive training on this if you don't have prior experience.

**The Ideal Classroom Assistant**:

- Experience working with SEN children and/or adults
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Nurturing and caring personality
- Understanding of safe guarding
- Excellent communication skills

- Salary: £70 to £80 per day, PAYE
