Each child is met with a tailored programme to ensure that they have all the tools they need to achieve not only academic success but also reach their personal goals.The role as a Therapy Assistant
Your main duty and role will be to support the students in the classroom.
The support you provide will be either in a small group setting or 1 to 1.
Your priority will be to ensure that these children have a warm and safe environment to come to everyday so that learning can take place.
You will be supported by the class teacher and also have the advantage of being exposed to a multi-disciplinary team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who are looking to make a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
Individuals who are aspiring graduates and those looking to start a career in either education or psychology are most welcome to apply.
Those with backgrounds in sports, art or drama are also encouraged to apply.The successful Therapy Assistant:
Will be calm, passionate about making a difference and positive
Will have some experience working with children
Will understand the importance of safeguarding
